So until the day comes when LA is in the 80’s I am going to take advantage of the remaining days by wearing my favorite boots and the chunkiest sweaters I own. I got these over-the-knee boots for Christmas and I am absolutely in love with them. The pointed toe is my FAVE and the fact that they stay up on my leg without sliding down is quite a miracle. It is so hard to find boots that stay put!
In all honesty, if you had told 12 year old me that I’d wear a turtleneck in my twenties she would’ve dropped dead. I remember the days when my mom would drag me to Old Navy (lol) and grab every color of turtleneck for me to wear to school since they were accepted as a part of my school uniform. I hated them. Hated. Hated. Hated. I felt like they choked me and that I looked ridiculous.
And now here I am. wearing. a. turtleneck. I found this one a couple months ago at H&M and knew I had to break my 12 year old vow to never wear a turtleneck again. It is SO soft and cozy and oversized; I just couldn’t resist. Plus the neck is definitely looser than those good ole classics from Old Navy so I no longer feel like I am suffocating. A new era has arrived.
