take me back

I apologize for the lack of posting recently; I have been out of town camping with zero phone service, wifi, or anything else. It was really quite refreshing to have some space between the real world and social media for a few days. I’ve just finished my first quarter of senior year (only two more to go!) and there was no better way to celebrate than to spend time with my family, boyfriend, and loved ones. But now, it’s back to reality and I feel better than ever.

This outfit takes me back to my childhood. Let’s get real, overalls, high-tops, and a flannel? Talk about the epitome of the 90’s, and I’m so happy it’s making a comeback.I actually bought these overalls at a thrift store a while back when my friend and I were having a 90’s themed party. They were HIDEOUS. I found them in the little boys section and they barely reached my ankles. I was running around the store in them laughing hysterically with my friend. Naturally, everyone was staring at us. I’m glad I saw the potential in them and chopped them into shorts because now I love them.
