A Trend To Watch: Turquoise Jewelry

Summer is upon us and it’s my favorite time of the year because I can wear fewer layers and simpler outfits. You can’t quite pile on cute cardigans and leather jackets while also avoiding a heat stroke after all. Instead I get to enjoy the sunshine by ditching the heavy layers and replace them with fun jewelry.

Nothing completes an outfit quite like a chunky bracelet, layers of rings, or a bold necklace. While plain silver or gold can do the trick, turquoise along with other natural stones have been becoming more and more apparent in today’s jewelry trends. They are a great way to add a touch of color to an outfit, while still remaining neutral. My obsession with stones has been growing ever since I stole a vintage turquoise bracelet from my mom (sorry, mama bear) and I have been looking for pieces with similar aesthetic ever since. That’s why I was so happy when I discovered Pure Life Jewelry, a handmade jewelry line based out of my hometown of Phoenix, Arizona.

I fell in love with Pure Life as soon as I saw the collection. Not only is every piece handmade, but their mission is to spread positivity and confidence to each wearer. In fact, the ring that I have has the words “radiate love” inscribed on the inside of the band as a reminder to spread kindness and love wherever I go. And let me be honest with you, it actually works.

Turquoise jewelry is a staple that won’t be going away anytime soon. Natural stones are being used now more than ever to help with manifestation and to spread good energy (plus they are just so pretty!) I gotta say with all that’s going on with the world, I’ll take all the good vibes I can get. And if looking at an incredibly-crafted steer necklace puts a smile on my face, so be it.
