Keeping Things Casual

Sometimes the simplest outfits are my favorite outfits. While yes, I love getting dressed up, layering on the jewelry, and accessorizing like crazy, there is something so nice about throwing on your favorite pair of sneakers, a hat, and calling it a day. A lot of the time, outfits like these are what I feel most confident in.

If you were to see me out and about, probably running errands, this is usually something I would be wearing. I am so incredibly happy that sneakers are in style and I can channel my inner Sporty Spice every once in a while. I’ve gotten so comfortable in booties and heeled shoes, that it is actually a bit out of my comfort zone to let lose and be a little more casual.

To whoever brought the baseball hat back, I thank you. You have saved so many of us as we can now disguise our bad hair days under a cute little dad cap. Honestly though, I have always loved hats. From fedora style to floppy hats to everything in between. When a different style of hat comes into fashion, I pretty much always jump on the trend. I find them to be an easy way to add a special touch to an outfit, especially as one as simple as this.

My favorite thing about style is that an outfit doesn’t always have to be complicated to make a statement. You don’t always need layers upon layers of beautiful clothing, chunky jewelry, or statement heels to make an outfit that catches people’s eye. Outfits like this get noticed because it’s relatable and people love finding new ways to be cute and casual at the same time.

Sometimes the simply looks are the hardest to pull off! They can go from simple to sloppy very easily. You do simple chic so well! Love this whole look.
