Dressing Up

One of the best things about warmer weather is that it’s so great to be able to wear sundresses on a regular basis. I am constantly living in dresses during the warmer months because they are so easy to style and so much more comfortable than wearing shorts. Plus, they are an effortless way to look well put together.

A goal of mine this spring and summer is to expand on my dress collection. I have been eyeing so many different silhouettes and styles to try out. I typically lean towards shift and slip dresses when I’m shopping because they are easy to throw on and not think anything about it. The loose fit makes me feel cute even on days where I may have (AKA probably have) stuffed my face with food (and most likely bottomless mimosas).

Sundresses are great because they are so easy to transition from day to night. Usually, just a swap of shoes and a dress is instantly well-suited for date night, girls night out, or any occasion. Dresses are always an amazing solution for busy days that turn into nights.

While dresses won’t be the only thing I’ll be wearing this season, I am sure they will be making an appearance more often than not. I’m going to be blunt, I love easy ways to look like I tried getting ready when I actually didn’t; throwing on a dress is one of them. Are there any dresses you’ve been looking for this spring? I’d love you to share them!
