5 Drugstore Beauty Products I Can’t Live Without

Happy Thursday! It is Cinco De Mayo and also my FIRST EVER beauty post. Ahh, what a time to be alive. I’ve gotten more and more into makeup over the years and while I am extremely far from being amazing at makeup, I still love trying out new and different products. And as much as I love high end cosmetics, my current budget can’t always afford it. So for my first official makeup post, I give you my 5 drugstore cosmetics I can not live without.

Revlon PhotoReady Translucent Finisher: My best friend introduced me to this product and let me tell you, it is life changing. This powder is translucent so it doesn’t make your foundation cakey. I use it to bake my concealer and lightly over my face powder before putting on bronzer. It helps your foundation stay in place and prevents shine all day. I’m telling you, you need this in your life.

e.l.f. Baked Highlighter in Blush Gems: This is a great highlighter for when you want a more subtle look, but is pretty buildable if you want it more dramatic. The shade Blush Gems is so pretty. I tend to find myself looking at my cheeks in the mirror every time I use it.

L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Powder: I swear by this stuff. I have used it for years while trying tons of different powders in between, but I always come back to this. No really, I’ve tried MAC, Lorac, Tarte, Neutrogena, Benefit, the list could go on. This powder is great because it can give you great coverage with very little product. I have found this to last way longer than any higher-end powder and it’s a fraction of the cost.

e.l.f. Expert Liquid Eyeliner: For $2, you really can’t complain about this eyeliner. After spending money on liquid eyeliners that dry out after two weeks, I have found this has worked just as good for a quarter of the price. It is easy to apply and stays on all day.

NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick: If any of you know me I am obsessed with nude lipsticks. My boyfriend jokes that they all look the same, but I swear they don’t! Anyways, this NYX line came out a few months ago and I had to try it. I first swatched it on my hand at Ulta and when I went to wipe it off, it would NOT budge. This lipstick stays on all day long and has a great matte finish. It is a shame they are always sold out in stores or I would have every shade.
